Dale is a small village with a sheltered bay. There is a sailing school offering instruction in dinghy sailing and windsurfing. It is also possible to waterski and go on a sea safari.
The village is in the national park and the coastal path is quite stunning. There are excellent beaches within walking distance and the village has a post office, pub and restaurant. A boat leaves daily for the offshore islands.
