Aberfeldy itself is not without its own visitor attractions with the Distillery and the intriguing Watermill Bookshop Gallery (winner of the best UK independent bookshop) as well as other galleries and a fine range of shops.

The village of Kenmore at the head of Loch Tay is just 6 miles from Aberfeldy and during the summer months there are regular boat trips on the loch. Enough about Aberfeldy and its environs now a little about Balnearn itself. Located on the edge of the town with in a 2 minute walk of the Birks o Aberfeldy Balnearn is a Victorian- style property set with in its own private grounds as well as an off-street private car park.
