An Elegant Bed and Breakfast set in stunning Perthshire. Newstead Bed and Breakfast is the middle floor of a traditional stone built villa circa 1884 and combines the elegance of the past all rooms have high ceilings cornices and large windows plus all the contemporary conveniences of today central heating throughout en-suite facilities bathroom with power shower and a stunning large bath where you can ease away any aches and pains at the end of the day. All our rooms have teacoffee making facilities and are well decorated spacious and bright with delightful comfy beds. Wi Fi is available for our business guests who need to communicate while away from the office we offer a tranquil nights sleep and early breakfasts (please advise when booking).

Edinburgh and Glasgow are approximately an hours drive away. Crieff is known as the Gateway to the Highlands and there are a wealth of activities on our doorstep Golf both in Crieff and at the renowned Gleneagles course that is just eight miles away a short twenty minute drive. Walking is extremely popular with walks at all levels to suit everyone why not come in October when Crieff hosts The Drovers Tryst a unique walking festival for beginners and experienced walkers and families plus much moreThe oldest whisky distillery and the renowned Grouse Experience are with in walking distance enabling you to leave your car and take pleasure in the tastes of the renowned Grouse Family of whisky.

August is full of things to do from the start of the Grouse Shooting on the 12th and The renowned Grouse Experience Music Festival starting on Friday 12th and continuing on Saturday the 13th of Augus 2011. During this 2 day event guests will have the opportunity to sample whisky thats not widely available to the public learn how to make the best whisky cocktails and listen to some of the finest music Scotland is producing now.

Crieff Highland Games takes place on Sunday 21st August with everything you would expect from Highland Games and more. Newstead Bed And Breakfast is right on the edge of The Crieff Hydro Hotel estate and the hotel is a short ten minute walk away the hotel provides lots of activities from Golf Quad Biking Segway or laser Quest for those who want to chill out there is the Hair and Beauty Salon where you can get a day pass to the Victorian Spa.

BY CAR FROM EDINBURGHFrom Edinburgh head West pass Edinburgh Airport at Newbridge Roundabout head for Stirling M9 (NOT Glasgow M8) At Stirling the M9 becomes the A9 Follow signs for Perth A9 (Dual carriageway) follow this road for approximately 14 miles Exit A9 at junction signposted A822 Crieff. Pass the Visitors Centre on left cross the bridge continue onto Burrell Street straight on to T Junction facing the Church go left on to A85 Comrie Road.
