Roslin Cottage is perfectly placed for those guests who want to take pleasure in the peaceful space of the country with in an hour of the cities of Glasgow Edinburgh and Stirling and take advantage of local amenities in and around Callander - fine food pubs with entertainment restaurants leisure centre activities as well as swimming and rock wall climbing and interesting shops. Our 17th Century cottage sits at the east edge of the town of Callander with country walks leading on to Sustrans Route seven cycle track and down to the Rivers Teith and Keltie. The new Bracklinn Bridge is closeby and worth a visit in itself while enjoying breathtaking views over the Upper Crags above Callander. Ben Ledi and Ben Aan are popular mountain climbs while Loch Venacher and Lake of Menteith are excellent for angling. Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park and gateway to The Trossachs provides marvellous outdoor pursuits as well as angling cycling golfing sailing horse riding photography as well as hill walking and mountain climbing in stunning scenery. Let our guests from home and abroad speak for us-youve given us such a delightful start to our honeymoon. By road from Glasgow Edinburgh Airports to Stirling City take Exit 10 on M9 to Crianlarich A84 - drive seventeen miles you are in Callander in the Trossachs. By public transport from Stirling City Bus Station board a 59 Bus. It leaves approximately quarter to the hour best check time tables. Ask to get off at the Myrtle Inn we are next door. Coming by car from Stirling we are on the right as you drive into Callander the first old white Cottage. Please park your car at the Myrtle Inn car park. |
