Nestling into the top of a wooded hillside about six miles from the Lake Gold Award winning Cyfie Farm is in a stunning location overlooking the Vyrnwy Valley with views across the width of Wales.

The amazing views are best enjoyed from the National Gardens Scheme Gardens or the hot tub and sauna spa. Cyfie is a uniquely tranquil peaceful and remote position where guests can experience the true meaning of silence and with all the comforts of a top hotel Cyfie is the ideal retreat from the contemporary world. We have luxurious self-catering cottages too recently converted to the highest standard with features such as flagged under floor heating and steam shower.

Locally sourced produce is used in all our cooking; both Neil and Claire the owner's are Cordon Bleu trained and dinner is available by request Thursday-Saturday evenings. Guests can wander through the award winning gardens and take pleasure in the stunning views admire the sculptures by local artist Andy Hancock or spend time restful in the summer houses where the abundant variety of bird and wild life can be enjoyed.

There is a badger sett directly behind the garden where wildlife enthusiasts have been known to sit up late in the evenings to see them. Guests can take pleasure in being on working farm with horses sheep and cattle and watch many of the farming activities that take place over the seasons. There are many walks which can be taken from the farm through the delightful Montgomeryshire countryside.

Locally sourced produce is used in all our cuisineThis area is perfect for walking nature. Angling shooting castle mountains or its a short drive to the coast. The lack of any man-made background noise here is striking - its a pace to come and relax - the ideal retreat.
