All rooms are furnished to a extremely high standard with your comfort in mind. Set in an area of exceptional Natural Beauty and nestling at the foot of the Mendip Hills the picturesque village of Draycott provides an perfect base for exploring walking and cycling. Come and take in the breath taking scenery of the Mendip hills and the Somerset levels. From Harolds House you have access to plenty of picturesque walks from the Mendips to the Moors. Draycott is located between the village of Cheddar and the historic cathedral city of Wells. All rooms are furnished to a extremely high standard with your comfort in mind. Your stay at Harolds House BandB will leave you feeling relaxed and refreshed. If you are a pilot attending the Bristol Ground School we are only a five minute drive away by car. From the M5 take J21 (from north) or J22 if coming from South. Follow signs for Cheddar. Head straight into Cheddar following signs for Wells. You will pass a Tesco Express on your right and then a monument in the centre of Cheddar. Follow the road to Wells. You will pass over a narrow hump back bridge with a sharp bend to the right. Follow the road to Draycott past the garden centre. As you enter Draycott we are the third turning on the left. It is marked with a brown information sign for the Gliding club which is at the top of the road. |
