The North Eastern Hotel is a family managed public house located in the town centre of Goole. It was built in 1869. Until about three years ago the Hotel was run down so the Landlords Paul and Helen Newham took on the challenge of a major refurbishment. The Hotel has a small restaurant on the on the first floor is a as well as a restaurant on the second floor along with seven nicely decorated rooms for bed and breakfast as well as some with en-suite.

There is also an area for the guests to sit and unwind with Newspapers and Tv on the second floor. Each room provides - Digital Tv Fresh Towels Toiletries Tea and Coffee also you can have full use of an Iron Ironing board if required. We can provide an evening meal if pre booked. There is guest car parking available at the rear of the Hotel. We are located directly across from Goole Train Station and just fifteen minutes from Drax 30 minutes from Doncaster York and Hull. Gooles Attractions. Goole Town Port is 1 of the major attractions as the history can be traced as far back as the Vikings. The port was once 1 of the busiest in the country and is still used regualry to this day. Goole Waterways Museum provides barge trips up and down the river and also a tour of the port. Gooles NEWEST attraction is the Junction situated only round the corner on Wesley Square its a busy lively Theatre Cinema Workshop and Cafe Bar. Also close by is the local Lesiure Centre which provides fun for all the family such as swimming and sports facilities. And for any bird lovers its just 30 minutes to the local RSPB Bird Sactuary at Blacktoft. We are also and perfect place for any Train Fanatics as we are based across from Goole Train Station covering routes from Sheffield to Hull.
