Large cockpit and wide side decks, Mainsheet mounted on the cabin top leaves cockpit clear, Fan heater from shore power, Galley as well as double burner and grill, Bed linen and duvets, WCRig Masthead Bermudan, roller reefing headsail and slab reefing mainsail. Fin keel. Engine Yanmar diesel. This boat does not have a fridge but offers a coolbox and ice packs on request. Cold water just. Situated at a midway point on the Caledonian Canal between Loch Lochy and Loch Oich this base is perfectly placed to offer a choice of cruising directions. Cruise from Laggan to Loch Oich through a staircase of five locks in the picturesque village of Fort Augustus and on to Drumnadrochit where you can moor below the unmistakable Urquhart Castle on the banks of Loch Ness. Alternatively, cruise down Loch Lochy to Gairlochy, under the shadow of Ben Nevis, and on through the Caledonian Canal to Neptunes Staircase - the longest staircase lock in the UK, comprising of 8 locks. Televisions are not available on either cruisers or yachts due to lack of reception. Guests may bring their own bikes with prior permission from the boat yard.
