The slower pace of boating was great for relaxing.

Due to the credit crunch we decided to holiday in the U.K. this year. This is something we have never done before and never even thought of. We can honestly say that it has been one of the best holidays that we have had. We are are a family of 5 (two adults and 3 children) Myself and the children became crew members whilst my husband drove the boat. It was a very bonding experience and the children can't wait for us to book again. Everyday you wake up to a new view.

I have been with Silverline Marine every year and sometimes twice a year, for the last 12 or so years. Their boats are immaculate, some of the best on the Broads and Colin, Lesley, Robert and all the staff give you a lovely warm welcome and even their boatyard is welcoming! As to the Norfolk Broads - I love them, beatiful scenery, lots of lovely villages and riverside pubs - heaven, oh, and no locks to navigate! A fantastic holiday for experienced boaters or for first timers - I can't wait for next year.

Having returned to the Broads after 15 years it was certainly a relaxing experience, with no traffic to contend with.

It was our 8th boating holiday on the Broads. All previous holidays had been very enjoyable, but the last one was the best one of all!
