Customer Rating/Reviews
We have been boating on the Broads almost every year with Hoseasons, since 1972, and have been with quite a few boatyards, some of which are now long gone. In 1999 we tried Silverline Marine and have not been with anyone else since. You will not find a better boatyard anywhere. They are based at Brundall, which is only about a 15 minute drive from Norwich, and if you go by train from Norwich the station is right there. The owners greet you the minute you arrive and all the staff are so friendly and very helpful. All the boats are spotlessly clean when you arrive, and you will not find a speck of dirt anywhere, they have a high percentage of return visitors every year. We have been 18 times now, a total of 33 weeks, and after just having spent 3 weeks in May 2011, we are coming back in August 2011 for another 2 weeks. We have also had the honour of naming one of their cruisers!

Silverline is a gem of a boatyard - a welcoming, efficient and genuinely friendly boatyard, their boats are comfortable and superbly equipped. Add to this the Norfolk Broads itself and you have a totally relaxed atmosphere. I cannot recommend the Broads and especially Silverline enough!

A wonderful holiday. On arrival we were greeted in a most friendly manner by the boatyard staff, and immediately shown to a very comfortable boat, which was exactly as we expected from the brochure. After the usual formalities we left the yard and spent the first night at anchor in a nearby broad. We found the southern Broads to be less commercialised than the northern ones, consequently shops etc were more spread out. However this suited us well as we are quite used to planning our itinerary, and the lower level of commercial activity meant that the waterways were quieter. We visited both ends of the rivers, from Beccles to Norwich, and everywhere we were greeted in a friendly manner. One night was spent in our "home" boatyard, where we were made very welcome, especially by the owner's dogs.we strongly feel that our future visits to the Norfolk Broads will certainly be made via Silverline Marine, always assuming their popularity does not lead to a shortage of craft.

Had a wonderful time, it was our dogs first time and ours on a boat would definitely do it again.! The people of Norfolk are helpful and friendly more to the point very dog friendly, even when it rained as it does still things to see and do. A great classic British family holiday.

We came to Silverline in 2009 after our regular boatyard closed. With over 20 years of Broads cruises we can spot a well run operation, and this family run business certainly is one of the best! Pleasant, efficient staff, well maintained craft, a clean and tidy boatyard, need we say more! Give em a try, you'll want to come again!

Wonderful relaxing holiday, it made us feel we were a million miles away from the rat race. Certainly going to do it again.

I would recommend this holiday to everyone, it was an amazing experience and a great way to see the Broads. We saw a huge range of wildlife, and spent days basking in the sun. I would also recommend the boats to people with mobility issues, I have quite severe arthritis and found them easy to move around and the only difficulty was mooring in tidal stretches of the river.
