Customer Rating/Reviews

Relaxing and scenery is beautiful. Author: Mr J, London, Middx - Date Submitted: 06/2011

Star Gem was the perfect boat for just the two of us. Like a floating hotel, easy to handle and Richardsons boatyard were friendly and very efficient, both outgoing and incoming. At a very sedate 4-6mph this has to be one of the most relaxing holidays available. The wildlife is amazing if you take the time and care to find it - we saw swallow tailed butterflies at Martham Broad, and photographed an otter swimming along the edge of the channel leading to Netishead. Add to this black swans at Salhouse, and more herons than sparrows then this is a true nature fest.Go on, treat yourself to a Norfolk Broads boating holiday. Real luxury of space for just the two of us and we handled the boat very happily between us at all times. Rich and varied; busy riverside pubs and village staithes or quiet back water moorings with a wonderful variety of wild life. Felt like everything happened in slow motion and the whole holiday was very relaxing Author: Mrs W, WREXHAM, Clwyd - Date Submitted: 05/2010

We're a young city dwelling couple who work in the the rat race which is manic, the experience you get breaking away and finding yourself on a Hoseasons boat down the Broads in the sun, convertible roof down, cruising at about 3,4 mph watching nature pass you by like a tortoise, Is something every person young n old should experience.. this year was our 4th boating holiday so we're quite new.. this year we saw a deer by the river trotting along the banks that was something i'll never forget.. it truly is a different experience every trip.. many of my friends are now too enjoying the pleasure you get from a Hoseasons boat holiday 10/10 everytime.. This was our first holiday without the kids, just the two of us and the dogs. This was a very peaceful and stress free holiday and I would recommend it to everyone looking for peace and tranquility. Author: Mr D, ALNWICK, - Date Submitted: 07/2009

It was the most relaxing holiday I've ever been on! It was my first full weeks holiday with my partner and niether of us like to just lay by a pool, this way we did as much or as little as we wished - truly fantastic! Author: Miss B, CAMBRIDGE, - Date Submitted: 07/2009

Its relaxing and great to get away from the pressures of home. Author: Mr B, KNOTTINGLEY, - Date Submitted: 06/2009

This was our third broads experience but this time it was without the kids and we were celebrating our 22nd wedding anniversary. On the first day we quickly realised that we had forgotten how peaceful, relaxing and extremely enjoyable this type of holiday is. Its just great to be able to hire such a wonderful boat and we will do it again and again. I have already recommended the experience to friends and family. It is a fantastic holiday and brilliant if you include your dogs in your holiday. The boat we had was the perfect size for two adults and two large dogs. We loved every minute of the holiday apart from the journey back to the boatyard as we did not want to leave! Author: Mr W, Clacton, Essex - Date Submitted: 04/2007

The peace and calm is not to be found anywhere else, and the area is completely unspoilt by developments so often seen these days. The boat was excellent and the holiday was great. Author: Mr H, Peacehaven, Sussex - Date Submitted: 10/2006

I would recommend Hoseasons because I have holidayed with you for more than 10 years and you have never failed "to float my boat" thank you and see you next year! Author: Miss B, Dagenham, Essex - Date Submitted: 09/2006

For our first time on the Broads, the Richardson's could not have been more helpful. The brief on the boat, including the short supervised river experience, was excellent. Author: Mr H, St Ives, Cambridgeshire - Date Submitted: 07/2006

The very best way to turn off from the activities of the world, no traffic concerns an excellent way of fully relaxing. We enjoyed it so much we have booked another week in September. Author: Mr L, Chesterfield, Derbyshire - Date Submitted: 06/2006
