We would definitely recommend Hoseasons and Swancraft to anyone wanting a good quality boating holiday on the Norfolk Broads. Our boat 'Swan Ranger' was very luxurious and exceeded all our expectations. The whirlpool bath is a must and the facilities on board from the kitchen to the flat screen TV/DVD were brilliant. We had a fantastic week cruising. Author: Ms B, Orpington, Kent - Date Submitted: 05/2011

As first timer's we were a little apprehensive about taking out a rather expensive 35' cruiser. Swancraft were brilliant - relaxed and friendly and spent time with me until I could handle the boat confidently. The boat was fantastic, and preparation/presentation of the boat was faultless. The cruising was amazingly relaxing, with the only nervous points initially being the mooring and casting off. Our first mooring was quite hopeless, but there always seems to be plenty of helpful people around to help pull you in. The boat had bow thrusters, which definitely help, and other moorings were pretty drama free. There were not as many places at the riverside to stop off for food as I initially thought, but we did stop off at quite a few and the quality of food and service were all good. One thing I wasn't properly prepared for was the tide. The boat we had was quite tall, and I didn't realise that the tide would restrict us so much in terms of bridges - instead of just jumping in the boat and heading off we sometimes needed to plan the day around the tides - not a big issue when you are aware of it, but requires some planning. Probably only an issue for the taller boats such as ours. All in all though, a fantastic break. This is something I have wanted to try for several years but my family were not convinced. However, by the end of this break everyone was saying how brilliant it was and saying they want to go again! Author: Mr S, Colchester, Essex - Date Submitted: 04/2011

A perfect chance to relax and take in the wonderful nature that our country has to offer. The boat was of high quality and the staff at Swancraft were helpful and welcoming. Author: Ms H, Birmingham, West Midlands - Date Submitted: 10/2010

It's the perfect holiday where you have the freedom to take your lodgings anywhere you feel like going. Author: Ms N, OLDHAM, - Date Submitted: 06/2010

Great relaxing holiday - boat was brilliant and the children really enjoyed it. Author: Mrs. D, ROCHDALE, - Date Submitted: 06/2010

Boating on the Broads is a great way of having a relaxing holiday which is also interesting as there is a lot to do and see. It is one of the few places in the world that is safe for novice boaters. As a boater of some experience, it is the only time that I have been happy on a boat without a compass, a depth sounder and a Loran/GPS. Author: Mr N, BACUP, - Date Submitted: 09/2009

A fantastic family holiday for all, the boatyard was welcoming and the boat hired was exactly what was described in the brochure. Author: Mr K, Rochester, Kent - Date Submitted: 08/2009

We stayed in the Swan Rapier, this boat was wonderful! The four of us thoroughly enjoyed our week on the boat, accompanied by lovely weather - we especially enjoyed Beccles and Loddon. There was plenty of mooring in Beccles but in Loddon it was limited to about 8-10 boats near the village but there were other moorings further away from the village. There were plenty of places to get food in Loddon ranging from chips to Chinese, Indian take away and also pub grub. In Beccles we visited a little Italian restaurant twice called the Ristorante Piatto, Smallgate, Beccles - the food was lovely there. The central heating on this boat was a blessing on a cold morning and also the Whirlpool bath was great for relaxing at night. The living area was very nice and was just big enough for you to sprawl out on. The kitchen was reasonably small but had all the appliances you need. Overall it was a very good boat and we would recommend it to anyone looking for a week of total relaxation. Author: Mr W, Walsall, - Date Submitted: 08/2009

This holidays was everything & more than the brochure said. We enjoyed it that much we immediately booked the same boat again, not for a week, but for 2 weeks next year. You just can't get a more relaxing holiday. Author: Mrs D, Poole, Dorset - Date Submitted: 10/2008

A very chilled and relaxing holiday, everything was made so easy for us and there was no rushing anywhere. Author: Mr C, Winsford, Cheshire - Date Submitted: 10/2007

Hoseasons are extremely good with clear and concise information (no hidden charges etc). Even if you are a novice at boating holidays you cannot fault the standard of help and advise you get from the boatyards. It is the most relaxing and stress free holiday you could ever take. I would certainly recommend this type of holiday but you need to book well in advance! Author: Mr S, Stockport, Cheshire - Date Submitted: 09/2007
