Customer Rating/Reviews

A fantastic holiday! Booked a weekend break on the first weekend of the fishing season for my husbands 40th. We hired Symphoney 3 and it was great, although the bed was a bit hard! Driving the boat was easy and there was lots of free moorings next to the pubs! As it was the first weekend of the fishing season it was quite busy but because our boat was a bit smaller it could get under Wroxham bridge so the other side was less busy as the bigger boats could not get under. We are now looking into booking again next year with the kids! Would recommend this holiday to everyone! The only bad point of the holiday was the price. If it was cheaper we would go more often. The whole holiday experience was very enjoyable Author: Mr M, Grimsby, South Humberside - Date Submitted: 09/2010

We thoroughly enjoyed the holiday, a great boat which is ideal for 2. The easy chairs make it suitable for a weeks holiday, and heating is very efficient. It was wonderful to be able to moor up in such quiet places and enjoy being close to nature. I would recommenmd it as a wonderfully relaxing holiday. I would recomend this holiday to anyone that wants a restful away from it all holiday with a 'little' adventure. I have already converted my sister and her family! Author: Mr D, Deal, Kent - Date Submitted: 07/2010

A great relaxing, stress free holiday, very peaceful and care free. Author: Mrs B, HARROGATE, - Date Submitted: 05/2010

Excellent relaxed holiday, great way to see the broads! Author: Ms M, BEXLEYHEATH, Kent - Date Submitted: 04/2010

A lovely boat with great fixtures and fittings, the Broads were their usual stunning best. Author: Mr A, Maidstone, Kent - Date Submitted: 11/2009

What a relaxing way to spend a few days, no more than 4-5 mile an hour you have no choice but to relax and unwind. A perfect way to get rid of the stresses and strains of modern day living. Author: Mrs B, Boston, Lincolnshire - Date Submitted: 08/2009

I would like to recommend this holiday as it was brillant and the boat was easy to handle although there were only the two of us! The scenery of the Broads is breathtakingly beautiful - overall a wonderful experience. Author: Mrs P, IMMINGHAM, South Humberside - Date Submitted: 07/2009

I would recommend the swift and proficient service provided by Richardsons staff at Stalham as they made the arrival and departure routines totally painless. Author: Mr W, Southsea, Hampshire - Date Submitted: 07/2009

Nobody knows exactly where you are which is fantastic as you can't be reached if you don't want to be. In remoter parts such as Dilham there is no phone signal anyway (you can always use a phone box in an emergency!) You can make it the holiday you want. If you want to go out for a meal or drink every night then glam up and go. But if you want to chill and just watch the river life, nature and wave at other boats as they go by you can do that too. Being on the water is so relaxing. As you pull out of the boatyard, your worries and stresses just melt into the calming water - the best!!!! Author: Mrs W, Herne Bay, Kent - Date Submitted: 06/2009

Although my wife was initially dubious about just the 2 of us handling a boat, and indeed the whole idea, we had an extremely enjoyable holiday helped by some glorious weather, and the friendliness of everyone we met. Having done it once we would certainly go again!! Author: Mr R, WILMSLOW, - Date Submitted: 06/2009

I found this holiday very relaxing, we will definitely come again! Author: Mr P, Southsea, Hampshire - Date Submitted: 06/2008

A fantastic getaway from it all and a great way to unwind! Author: Mrs B, Leeds, West Yorkshire - Date Submitted: 05/2008

Symphony is absolutely perfect for a couple. The warm air heating makes the boat ideal for cold weather cruising and the sunroof makes it great for warm weather. A nice touch with a full size fridge and the bed is as wide as a full size double and really makes for a comfortable time afloat. Oh and the new engine at the back makes things at the front nice and peaceful with no morning checks to make - hire with confidence! Author: Mrs B, Lincoln, Lincolnshire - Date Submitted: 03/2008

Freedom, peace, relaxation and natural beauty surround you - you could not want or ask for any more. This is my 6th trip with yourselves and I have never booked with any other boatyard, and hope to go to the Broads again next year! Author: Mr S, Sittingbourne, Kent - Date Submitted: 07/2007

If you want to have the ultimate quiet and peaceful break which gets you away from all the hassle of your normal life then believe me you are in the right place. Expect a relaxing, peaceful time and sit back and enjoy, then go home with a spring in your step - thanks for such a great holiday, we will be back! My husband and I have been on the Norfolk Broads every year for the last 10 years. It is a great way to recharge our batteries, whilst also doing as much or as little as you like. You can meet other people if you wish to, but otherwise you can have an enjoyable holiday just for two! Author: Mrs W, Horley, Surrey - Date Submitted: 10/2006

We would recommend the holiday as we love the boats and always find your boats wonderful. Author: Mr C, Sittingbourne, Kent - Date Submitted: 07/2006
