Customer Rating/Reviews
The actual narrowboat experience was fantastic. Being able to go at your own pace, visit some wonderful villages/cities especially Birmingham city centre - gas street basin. We met a wide range of folks, all very friendly. Canal pubs were well described in the PEARSONS GUIDE. This was recommended by Calcutt, which was a positive for the boat company. The locks were an experience and could be very demanding depending on volumes encountered each day.

A totally stress free, albeit busy, vacation. The vast majority of the waterborne community is very friendly and helpful, and to still find such peace and quiet in this day and age is extremely pleasant.
