We had a lovely time on the houseboat and have already recommended this to many friends and family.

The holiday can be enjoyed on board or use the boat/houseboat as a base for exploring the countryside, attractions and wildlife. A boating holiday appeals to the kid in me and the ability to get into tucked-away quiet places appeals to the adult side of me. I just like messing about on the water and finding these intersting little gems just around the corners!

The houseboat was homely, everything we needed and a cheaper option than a cruiser, also the convenience of our car to go to the beaches with our dog. The boatyard staff very friendly and helpful. Hired a day launch to be on the river and boat to a nearby pub. Beccles is a lovely town and the quay side a nice place to sit and watch the river traffic with a coffee from the cafe.

I would definitely recommend this holiday, its an experience that should be done, you feel relaxed being on the water and also a great location you feel as if you don't really want to go home.

Everything we needed for self catering was provided, including bedding, towels and tea towels. Plenty of storage room.

This holiday was excellent. Although we have stayed at this boat yard before, we stayed on the main river. We were a little concerned about staying in the basin but our doubts were completely unjustified. The whole holiday was very relaxing and all of the staff were very friendly and asked often if we were enjoying our stay, suggesting places of interest, and didn't fail to ask if they could help with our luggage both getting on and off the boat. We will definitely be returning!

For an autumn break, a week on a houseboat really is the perfect getaway and already we are looking forward to returning at the same time next year.

We have used Hoseasons for the last 4 years for our boating holidays and have no complaints of any kind. Have already booked next years boat for 2 weeks.

We had a fabulous week, calm and peaceful. Our houseboat was very spacious and comfortable and we spent part of everyday rowing on the river - even getting up extra early on our last day to fit more rowing in! The fishing was good too, I would recommend to everyone for a real relaxing break.

We were all very impressed with the houseboat - it has all the advantages of being afloat and the flexibility to explore in the car.
