Customer Rating/Reviews
Even though myself and my mother booked this we were inexperienced in narrowboating, we found it challenging like any adventure but feel thoroughly rewarded and met some very pleasant people along the way. Although there was an assistance help line we could call at any time we didn't need it, but was good to know. I totally recommend doing this with children, we took three boys aged from 4 - 12, and they loved it to, so get outside!

We would recommend a boating holiday to families, the more locks and swing bridges the better to give everyone something to do as part of a team. Plenty of pubs along the way helps towards evening entertainment.

The holiday restored faith in humanity, everyone was so helpful in everything you do, advice help at the lock's where to go, where to eat even when you bang into their boats(at Skipton) Wow!! Looking forward to doing it all over again and we got a great tan.

I would recommend this holiday to anyone who wants to take a dog with them, it's ideal and there are many boaters who take their pets with them. It is an extremely sociable holiday, as you meet people along the canal, at locks, and in the village pubs. Everyone we met was so friendly, and there is always someone around who is more than happy to help, should you be uncertain what to do at a bridge or lock.

A very relaxing holiday and along the way the people you meet on the canals are very helpful and informative. The inns serve very good food and the lock keepers are really good at assisting you through the possible hazards one may encounter within the locks, with tips on safety to help you along the canal system. In fact the people one meets on the canals are very friendly. The sights one sees are breathtaking, the countryside is beautiful and as one passes through the counties along the way one cannot help feeling relaxed and being part of the tranquility.
