Holiday Park Description
As the only Park Resort in North Wales, Ty Mawr Holiday Park is carrying the reputation of a large area. It does so astoundingly successfully though with its top class facilities and smothering of historic venues that are within a close proximity to the park. The park itself has so much to offer as well. The indoor fun pool with a flume is ideal for guests of all ages who just want to stay out of the sun or rain. The Water Resorts programme has a lot on as well with hydrodomes, waterworx, blading, Miami Beach Surf Rescue and snorkelling. The Rendezvous Diner and Takeaway caters for your food needs with some top notch grub. The Farm House Inn provides bar meals if you fancy something different. Then there is the Fisherman's Wharf Fish and Chip Shop if you prefer something more traditional. The Sands Club is where all the evening entertainment happens. The kids are not overlooked with Little Sparks under 5s club, Hoppers for 5-7 year olds, Jumpers for 8-11 year olds and Xcite for Teens for the 11-16 year olds ensuring they have a enjoyment and fun all holiday. If the kids clubs are not to their taste then there is the prospect of going on the amusements, adventure playground, 5 a side football, all weather sports court, archery, darts and pool. A Park Mart Store and launderette makes sure your daily requirements are easily purchased during your visit. There is Wi-Fi access in all communal areas for a small fee. The beach is a 10 minute walk away. The closest bus stop is also only a 10 minute walk away from the park. Abergele Railway Station is just a short 10 minute drive and serves a wide area of North Wales. Accommodation is available in the shape of caravan holiday homes, touring holiday pitches, seasonal touring pitches and camping pitches. Pets are welcome but only in the bronze rated accommodation.

Local Area Information
Conwy has a captivating history surrounding King Edward I's reign in the 13th century when he set about occupying North Wales. Conwy Castle gives an unrivalled insight into this period of history, as do the number of other magnificent castles that dot the Conwy area. As well as having Snowdonia and the Lake District just a day trip away, Dublin is also just an hour and a half by ferry from Holyhead. The Welsh Mountain Zoo and Alice in Wonderland Centre are incredible places which the kids are bound to love.
