Holiday Park Description
Bideford Bay Holiday Park has so much to keep you from being bored. Its location on the north coast of Devon means it is prime for coastal visits to the beach and lapping up the sun, sea and sand. The park has a lot going on as well. A heated indoor pool and heated outdoor pool mean that you can enjoy a swim whenever you wish. The Water Resorts programme has a huge range of activities available such as hydrodomes, waterworx, blading, Miami Beach Surf Rescue and snorkelling. If you prefer your evening entertainment then the Manor House Show Bar will have something to tickle your fancy. Kids are not left out either with Little Sparks under 5s club and Sparky's Krew 5-11s club making sure they have a fun and active holiday. If the kids club is not their thing then there is always the opportunity to go on the amusements, children's adventure playground, 5 a side football, archery, darts and pool. The soft play area often proves a hit with the youngsters. There is a railway station only 30 mins drive away called Barnstaple Railway Station. The bus is only a 5 minute walk away so access to nearby areas and attractions is easy by public transport. A Park Mart Store and launderette are both available, as well as Wi-Fi access being up for use in communal areas, although a tiny charge might be required. The accommodation is in the form of caravan holiday homes, chalets and lodges. Gas and electricity is free but pets are only welcomed in the bronze accommodation.

Local Area Information
Devon is a scenic county with so much to discover. The main local attraction is Westward Ho! The beaches on offer have been awarded Blue Flag status and there is also a choice of shops and amusements near by. You can discover some of Devon's historic past by visiting Torrington which saw the climax of the Civil War in 1646. There is surfing at Croyde Bay if you fancy trying your hand at some water sports or there are a number of walks and cycle paths to try out to fully appreciate the countryside and coastline of Devon. The picturesque Lundy Island is also a great day out.
