Holiday Park Description
One of England's little charms, Martello Beach Holiday Park benefits from the reputation of the Essex Sunshine Coast. If the weather is just right, this coast of Britain shares many similarities with some of the finest coastal regions around the world such as Florida, California and the French Riviera. Even on a bad day there is too much to do to let the weather affect your mood. If you wish to stay on the grounds of the park then the heated indoor and outdoor pools will offer you a great opportunity to get some swimming done, after all, exercise on holiday is fine so long as it's fun! The Water Resorts Programme has Miami Beach Surf Rescue and snorkelling available. Kids are not ignored either with Little Sparks under 5s club and Sparky's Krew 5-11s club ensuring they have a joy and fun during their holiday. If the kids club is not their thing then there is always the chance to go on the amusements, multi zone adventure playground, 5 a side football, multi sports court, darts and pool. There is also a host of competitions and games provided by the staff such as Teamstar's Live Show, theme party nights and Park Resorts Has Got Stars. The launderette and Park Mart Store provide everything you will need for your stay on a daily basis. Wi-Fi access is available in the communal areas but a small charge is required. The beach is right next to the park. Clacton-on-Sea Railway Station is only a few miles from the park with a bus stop just a 5 minute walk away. Accommodation comes in the shape of caravan holiday homes, camping pitches, touring holiday pitches and seasonal touring pitches. Pets are welcome but only in the bronze rated accommodation.

Local Area Information
Essex has so much to discover including a range of historic buildings and castles, golf courses and various walks as well as cycle paths for you to try out. Clacton-on-Sea isn't far away with its iconic pier and the town of Colchester is only a short drive away offering a fantastic choice of fine shops, bars and restaurants to ensure you always have something to do and somewhere to visit. Colchester Zoo is a great day out for the kids and if they fancy something different they can always try IndiKart Indoor Karting. Marsh Farm Country Park is also a must for any animal lover.
