Holiday Park Description
Waterside Holiday Park is all about keeping it chilled out and making sure you can rest up knowing you won't be disturbed. The park's location has it away from urban life and allows you the choice of exploring the local nature life or hitting the beach. If you fancy being more active there is so much to tempt you in the local area. On the park grounds there is so much to do that you might not even want to leave to explore Essex. There is a small indoor pool in case the weather lets you down. The Water Resorts programme offers snorkelling and Miami Beach Surf Rescue. The Water's Edge Tavern and Café and Takeaway are the centre piece of the park with top quality entertainment available along with sublime food and extravagant drinks. The kids are not left out either with Little Sparks under 5s club and Sparky's Krew 5-11s club ensuring they have a fun and memorable holiday. If the kids clubs are not their thing then there is always the chance to go on the amusements, children's adventure playground, 5 a side football, darts and pool. The games and competitions hosted by the park staff are also outstanding. Events such as Park Resorts Has Got Stars, Teamstar's Live Show and theme party nights always go down a storm with guests. A Park Mart Store and launderette makes sure your daily requirements are easily purchased during your visit. There is Wi-Fi access in all communal areas for a small fee. The beach is merely a 10 minute drive away. There is a bus stop just outside the park grounds. Southminster Railway Station is also just a short 20 minute drive away offering public transport across the region of Essex. The accommodation for the park includes caravan holiday homes, camping pitches, touring holiday pitches and seasonal touring pitches. Pets are welcome, but are only allowed in the bronze rated accommodation.

From Waterside Holiday Park you can soak up the finest aspects of Essex. Southend with its iconic pier offers a memorable day out. There are a host of golf courses around for those who love a round or two. The old market town of Maldon is great to see the Essex of times gone by. Kelvedon Bunker gives a peek into how life would have been like had nuclear war broke out. The Aviation Museum is also a very interesting visit with so much information to take in. There are also a large number of towns offering superb shopping, eating and drinking amenities.
