Holiday Park Description
Situated on the gorgeous Isle of Wight, Landguard Holidays Holiday Park is a hidden treasure of Britain. The location couldn't be more perfect and the Isle of Wight as a whole just has such a laid back way of life that it is impossible not to feel away from it all. If you wish to stay on the park then you are not short of things to do. The heated indoor and outdoor pools allow you to enjoy a swim whether it is hot or cold. The Water Resorts Programme includes hydrodomes, waterworx, blading, Miami Beach Surf Rescue and snorkelling. Kids are not left out either with Little Sparks under 5s club and Sparky's Krew 5-11s club ensuring they have a fun packed and active holiday. If the kids club are not their thing then there is always the chance to go on the amusements, children's adventure playground, 5 a side football, darts and football. There is also a wealth of Park Resorts run competitions and games including Park Resorts Has Got Stars and the Teamstar's Live Show. A launderette and Park Mart Store are available for your convenience. Food and drink can be enjoyed at the Granary Restaurant and Takeaway. The Oasis Bar and Jesters Family Club provide additional entertainment options for the day time and evening. The ferry from Portsmouth to Fishbourne is free on selected dates to make a day trip very viable. It is a 5 minute walk to the nearest bus stop and just a 5 minute drive to the closest train station. The beach is only a 10 minute drive. Accommodation includes caravan holiday homes, lodges, touring holiday pitches and seasonal touring pitches. Pets are welcome but only in the bronze band of accommodation.

Local Area Information
The Isle of Wight is a hub of activity and entertainment. Many people associate the island with the Cowes Festival but it has much more to give. The Isle of Wight Zoo is sure to amuse the children with its array of animals whilst Planet Ice has ice skating and music to satisfy all. You can also delve into the history of the island by visiting a number of historic sites and interesting attractions such as Cowes Maritime Museum, the Isle of Wight Shipwreck Centre or even Queen Victoria's former island retreat at Osbourne House.
