Holiday Park Description
Lower Hyde Holiday Park flourishes on the Isle of Wight. With everything so near to the park it is hard to not fit both external and internal activities into your stay. You could spend the day exploring the island and then come back for entertainment in the evening. The park has a lot to give as well if you fancy staying on the site. The indoor heated spa pool gives you somewhere to relax if the weather isn't up to standard and the outdoor heated fun pool has a chute to enjoy on those sunny days. The Water Resorts Programme has hydrodomes, waterworx, blading, Miami Beach Surf Rescue and snorkelling available. Kids are not forgotten either with Little Sparks under 5s club, Hoppers for 5-7 year olds, Jumpers for 8-11 year olds and Xcite for Teens for the 11-16 year olds ensuring they have a fun and energetic holiday. If the kids clubs are not to their liking then there is always the opportunity to go on the amusements, children's adventure playground, 5 a side football, all weather sports court, archery, darts and pool. The wide range of Teamstar's events and competitions including Alice in Boogieland, Rockstars Supercars Show and Krew Club's Got Talent mean that every person is accommodated for not matter what their preference is. A Park Mart Store and launderette cover your everyday convenience needs whilst Wi-Fi access is available in the communal areas of the park for a small charge. Hudson's Diner and Takeaway gives another possibility for food and drink requirements, whilst the Squire's Fayre and Squire's Show Bar provide the entertainment relief. The beach is only a 10 minute drive away with ferries going from Fishbourne to Portsmouth free of charge on selected dates. Accommodation comes in the form of caravan holiday homes, chalets, luxury lodges, touring holiday pitches, camping pitches and seasonal touring pitches. Pets are only welcome in the bronze rated accommodation.

Local Area Information
Based on the Isle of Wight, there is so much to do out of the boundaries of Lower Hyde Holiday Park. The island has so much to get involved in including a rich history, particularly in the maritime genre. Visit a number of places such as Cowes Maritime Museum, the host of historic buildings and castles scattered around the island or just take in some seaside joy by visiting one of the many seaside destinations the island has available. Visit Needles Bay at Alum Bay where you can watch glass work in action and ride on the outstanding chairlift that takes you down to the beach.
