Holiday Park Description
Based on the Isle of Sheppey in Kent, Shurland Dale Holiday Park has the luxury of being in a great position for holiday makers. Kent is one of England's most glorious counties and the wealth of nature and coastal beauty makes it one of the most endearing counties in Britain. There is so much to do and get involved with on the park as well such as the indoor heated pool which is great for fending off boredom on those rainy days. The Water Resorts programme that includes hydrodomes, waterworx, blading, Miami Beach Surf Rescue and snorkelling is also great for all to try. The Boathouse Tavern and the Café and Takeaway Food Bar are the places to get your quality food and drink throughout your stay. Kids are not forgotten about either with Little Sparks under 5s club and Sparky's Krew 5-11s club ensuring they have a fun and boredom free holiday. If the kids club are not their thing then there is always the chance to go on the amusements, children's adventure playground, 5 a side football, darts and pool. There are also lots of games and competitions run by the park staff. The Teamstar's Live Show, visiting artistes and Park Resorts Has Got Stars provide all the laughs. There is a local shop in the nearby village for all your daily conveniences. The on-site launderette can sort out any washing your clothes might require. There is Wi-Fi access in the communal areas but this does have a small charge attached to it. The nearest bus stop is only a 10 minute walk away. Sheerness-on-Sea Railway Station is a 20 minute drive away. The beach is also just a 15 minute drive. Accommodation for the park comes in the shape of caravan holiday homes. Pets are welcome but only in the bronze rated accommodation.

Local Area Information
Margate and Ramsgate offer the traditional seaside resort atmosphere if you want to feel vintage seaside England. Sheerness also has a wonderful beach which is great for all the family. Dickens World invites you to find out more about the legendary author, Charles Dickens. Diggerland is a unique park that allows kids and adults to have a go at driving various diggers. Farming World is also superb fun for the whole family with so many animals on display. There is also a host of National Trust properties and gardens to visit.
