Holiday Park Description
St Margaret's Bay Holiday Park is only metres from the beautiful White Cliffs of Dover which make it immediately appear to be the typical English holiday park. It offers more than just aesthetic beauty though as it has much to offer throughout the year. There is also a high concentration of attractions around the park as well. If you do decide to stay on the park for the duration of your stay then you won't be disappointed with the wealth of fun and activities available. The 22 metre indoor pool is perfect for those days when the weather lets you down. You can also take advantage of the spa and relaxation pools, sauna, Jacuzzi, solarium, alternative therapy clinic and a fully equipped gym. The Water Resorts programme includes Miami Beach Surf Rescue and snorkelling. The Boathouse Bar and Restaurant provides the best food and drink around so you won't need to look elsewhere during your break. The Langdon Tavern is also the place to be in the evenings. Kids are not forgotten about either with Little Sparks under 5s club and Sparky's Krew 5-11s club ensuring they have a fun and boredom free holiday. If the kids club are not their preferece then there is always the opportunity to go on the amusements, small play area, 5 a side football, darts and pool. The visiting artistes, theme party nights and Park Resorts Has Got Stars are just some of the activities, games and competitions hosted by the park for the kids. A Park Mart Store and launderette means your daily necessities are easily purchased during your stay. There is Wi-Fi access in all communal areas for a small charge. The beach is a 5 minute drive away. The closest bus stop is just 10 minutes away. Dover Priory Railway Station is only a matter of minutes away when driving by car. There is also great potential for a day trip to France with the Dover to Calais ferry crossing. Accommodation comes in the form of caravan holiday homes, hotel rooms and bungalows. Pets are welcome but only in the bronze rated accommodation.

St Margaret's Bay has a lot of tourist attractions near by. Dover is one of the major ports of England which makes it very appealing to those coming from main land Europe. It is also an historic place to visit with its haunted castle and port. Rudyard Kipling's Home at Batemans is a delightful place where you can learn more about the Jungle Book author. De Bradelei Wharf Designer Outlet Village is the perfect place to catch up on some shopping. Canterbury is also home to the famous cathedral. There are also dozens of marvellous castles and gardens that pay homage to Kent's rich past.
