Caravan Description
Sandy Bay Silver 2 is a superior caravan that can sleep up to six people and has one double bedroom and one twin bedroom. There is also provision for sleeping two extra people in the lounge area. Bed linen and duvets are provided and beds are made up ready for the arrival of guests. The living space has a TV and a kitchen with a microwave. There is also a shower room. Travel cots can be hired per week and babies must be included in the final party number. The park will not accept parties of all male or female groups under the age of 25 years old and this type of accommodation does not allow pets. Gas and electricity is included. Sandy Bay has a number of excellent facilities for guests to enjoy, including an indoor heated swimming pool, sports court, pool tables children's adventure playground and amusements. There is a Little Sparks Club for kids under 5 year olds, a Children's Club for 5 - 11 year olds and a Teens Club for 12 - 16+ year olds. The park also runs a Water Resorts programme and Sports Resort programme. Food and drink is catered for at the Beach Bar, Boathouse Bar and Restaurant, the takeaway, shop and there is a laundrette on-site. Alnwick Castle, the setting for Hogwarts in the Harry Potter films is nearby and has some beautiful recently created gardens. There are also numerous excellent walks to enjoy in the surrounding area. Other local places of interest include the historic town of Morpeth, Farne Island where seal and bird watching can be done and the mystical Holy Island, which is accessible for day trips.
