The delightful friendly atmosphere and pretty and charming character combine with the magnificent position overlooking the valley of the River Dee to the distant mountains to make this the perfect holiday destination at any time of year. Each cottage has an outdoor patio area with garden furniture to sit out and fully enjoy the panoramic views.

The lovely town of Ballater, two miles away, has quality shops (many displaying the royal warrant), pubs, galleries and a famous country club. Aberdeen, with its full range of facilities is 40 miles down the valley. Royal Deeside lies at the gateway to the Cairngorm National Park in an area of exceptional natural beauty and provides much in the way of stunning scenery, wildlife and activities - walking, biking, climbing, golf, angling, riding, gliding and winter sports are all close by.

The cottages are perfectly located for touring with easy access to the well known Whisky and Castle trails. The stunning scenery includes magnificent high passes into Perthshire and the pretty Moray Firth coast.

Victoria cottage has a ground floor lounge, kitchen/dining room. On the first floor is a one double bedroom with en suite bathroom shower over the bath. All electric. Fridge, washer/dryer, microwave, television, video, dvd, cd player. Bed linen and towels supplied.
