You won't be surprised to hear that Smithy's Cottage was originally the blacksmith's workshop, with a probable construction date of 1830. The conversion and extension work has been tastefully carried out, and the property now offers comfortable holiday accommodation.

A delightful rural position just two miles from Strathdon, it is located at the foothills of the Eastern Cairngorms between Royal Deeside and Speyside in the Cairngorm National Park Area of Upper Condise. Watch the sunsets and even on occasions the Northern Lights from the front patio area.

There are great views from the property itself, with superb orienteering, cycling and walking trails in the forests. Enjoy the castles and the coastal and distillery trails, whereas day trips will encompass children's attractions, fishing and gardens.

Bedroom one has a double and two singles, and bedroom two has twin beds. Both rooms have en suite shower, WC and basin. Splendid open plan lounge with wood burner, dining room and kitchen having Washing Machine, Dishwasher, Microwave, Fridge, Freezer, Toaster, Oven, Hob, and Grill.
