Originally built in 1989 as a conservatory tearoom and shop for the specialist herb plant nursery at Old Semeil. The Garden House has been tastefully furnished to provide self catering accommodation with a sheltered patio overlooking the established herb garden with its amazing scents and wealth of insect life and birds. located adjacent to woodlands on 1 side and open fields with views to the other, the Garden House and patio trap the sun in summer. Local Spar shop and post office just three miles away. Pub with meals 2miles away.Strathdon is located 1000 feet up in the foothills of the Cairngorm Mountains with in the Caimgorms National Park. guests can take pleasure in National Trust Properties, gardens, local fishing, walking and wildlife. The Whisky Trail, Castle Trail and The Coastal Trail all with in a day out. Aberdeen is a 45 mile drive.The Garden House provides one double, one full size bunks, one double futon, shower room, separate WC, large living area, kitchen.guests take pleasure in seclusion and peace and peaceful ,The Garden House is a excellent base from which to discover Aberdeenshire, Royal Deeside and Balmoral and just an hours drive from the Moray Firth where dolphins are often seen.
