Cottage Description

Enjoying a spectacular location among the dunes of the beautiful beach at Rhosneigr on the Isle of Anglesey is an impressive house that can accommodate ten people.

Craig Y Don has been superbly furnished and presented to an extremely high standard. The property is set over three floors, with many of the rooms enjoying wonderful sea views. There are five bedrooms, two of which enjoy en-suite facilities and there is a spacious open plan living area, which leads to an impressive roof terrace.

Amenities/Accommodation Overview

This magnificent property enjoys full oil central heating. In the kitchen, there is an electric double oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, separate fridge, dishwasher and a washing machine/dryer in the utility room. The property also has a flat screen colour TV, Play station 3/DVD player, games and books. All the fuel and power is included in the rental price. There is bed linen and towels provided for guests. A cot, highchair and stair gate can be made available.

Outside, there is off road parking for five vehicles and a wonderful roof terrace with beach views. There is also a garden with a lawn and outdoor furniture. No pets are welcome. No smoking is allowed. There is a shop just one mile away, a pub half-a-mile away and a beach just ten metres walk from the property.

Local Town Description

Sitting on the beautiful west coast of the Isle of Anglesey is the popular seaside village of Rhosneigr, which has a rich history and past with tales of smuggling and offshore shipwrecks. It was also once a fashionable Edwardian holiday destination thanks to its beautiful sandy beaches. The village has a number of pubs, shops and places to eat. The nearby market towns of Llangefni, Holyhead and the city of Bangor are all within easy reach. Locally, there are many opportunities for, walking, fishing, sailing, sand yachting, wreck diving and golf.

Craig y Don is in an excellent location. The views from the lounge and bedrooms were stunning. The facilities for all the party were very good. Even though the weather was a little mixed we were on beach everyday and did not need to go anywhere else. Prior to this vacation we booked again for next year at the same house and have no regrets in this action. It was summed up when our three year old said he did not want to go home. It was a beautiful house in an ideal location, right on the beach. The house was decorated very tastefully and we all loved the large TV! The views were the best though and the fact that so many rooms had large windows to make the most of the stunning sea view. It was very clean, tidy and comfortable.
