Cottage Description

Sitting just one-hundred-and-fifty yards from the beach in the charming resort town of Rhosneigr on the Isle of Anglesey is this delightful detached cottage. This property has been superbly decorated throughout and can accommodate up to four people.

Driftwood Cottage has one twin bedroom, one king size double bedroom and a family shower room. There is an impressive open plan living area, which consists of a fitted kitchen, dining area and a sitting room with a wood burning stove.

Amenities/Accommodation Overview

Guests will benefit from the full oil central heating the property has, with additional heating provided from the wood burning stove in the sitting room. The well-equipped kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and freezer. The property also boasts a wall mounted TV and DVD player. All of the fuel, power and a starter pack of wood for the wood burner are included in the rent. There is also bed linen and towels provided, but guests are asked to bring their own beach towels. A travel cot, highchair and a stair gate can be made available.

Outside, there is off road parking for two cars plus room for a boat and Jet Ski. There is an enclosed decked area to the front with outdoor furniture and a rear decked area with additional outdoor furniture. Two dogs are welcome. This property has a no smoking policy. The village amenities and a sandy beach are all within one-hundred-and-fifty yards away.

Local Town Description

The popular seaside village of Rhosneigr is located on the stunning west coast of the Isle of Anglesey. It is famous for its impressive cliffs and beautiful sandy beaches. The village has enjoyed a varied history, which includes a sixth-century church and tales of smuggling and shipwrecks. Rhosneigr is today known for its wonderful beaches and range of water sports that are available, including windsurfing and kite surfing. Other local activities include fishing, golf, sailing, sand yachting and wreck diving. There are numerous pubs, places to eat and shops within the village. The market towns of Llangefni and Holyhead are within easy reach and the City of Bangor is nearby.

The bungalow was furnished nicely. It was near to a very nice beach for the dogs and it is convenient as a touring base for Anglesey. Everything was clean and nicely presented.
