Cottage Description
This charming detached cottage dates back to the eighteenth century and is located in the seaside village of Amlwch Port, on the beautiful island of Anglesey. Royal Oak Cottage can accommodate up to five people in its one double bedroom and one twin bedroom. The twin beds can be joined to make a second double bed if needed and the room has an additional folding bed. The property also has a bathroom, well-equipped fitted kitchen, dining room and a sitting room with a gas fire. Amenities/Accommodation Overview Royal Oak Cottage benefits from having full gas central heating with extra heating being provided from a gas fire in the sitting room. The kitchen has an electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine/dryer. The property also has a flat screen colour TV, DVD and a library of books, games, and DVD's. All fuel and power is included. Bed linen and towels are provided. Outside there is plenty of roadside parking, but this is on a first come, first served basis. The property has a small seating area to the side of the property. Two well-behaved pets are welcome. No smoking is allowed. There are shops, a pub and delightful harbour all within a short walk of the property. Local Town Description Amlwch Port is a small seaside village, which is located on the northeast corner of the Isle of Anglesey. It is part of the Heritage Cooper Trail and has many of Anglesey's coastal paths passes nearby. The area is popular for walking, cycling, golf and fishing. There are also many beautiful sandy beaches or guests can catch a ferry from nearby Holyhead for a day trip to Ireland.

The attention to detail in this cottage was very, very good. Welcome by the owners with a cup of tea, a bowl of fruit, and some homemade marmalade, which was very nice. The best cottage we have stayed in up to now. We have told all our friends about it and there is only a short walk to two pubs.
