Cottage Description

This single storey semi detached cottage lies close to Newborough Forest and the village of Dwyran on the Isle of Anglesey. Enjoying a rural setting, this property can accommodate up to four people.

Tal Poncau Bach is an all ground floor cottage, which has one double bedroom, one bedroom with a super king-size zip-link bed and a family bathroom. The property also has open plan living space with a fitted kitchen, dining area and a sitting room.

Amenities/Accommodation Overview

This property has full oil central heating. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher washing machine and tumble dryer. Tal Poncau also features a flat screen TV with Freeview, DVD player, CD/radio with iPod dock and a small selection of books, games, DVDs and CDs. All of the fuel and power is included in the price and guests are supplied with bed linen and towels, although they are asked to bring their own beach towels. A travel cot and highchair are available by prior arrangement.

Outside the property, there is a shared off road parking area, an enclosed garden with a lawn, patio area with outdoor furniture and a BBQ. There is also the use of a larger shared lawn area. Guests are welcome to bring one well-behaved dog. No smoking is allowed. The property sits just over two miles from shops and a pub and four miles from a beach.

Local Town Description

The delightful village of Dwyran sits close to the larger village of Newborough and is located on the edge of forests and dunes on the southwest corner of the Isle of Anglesey. Llanddwyn Bay is nearby and home to some superb beaches, which are popular for swimming, canoeing, bird watching and beachcombing. The fifteen-hundred acre sand dune system of Newborough Warren is situated behind the beach and is home to an abundance of nature, including skylarks, meadow pipits, oystercatchers, toads and lizards. Places of interest within easy reach include Anglesey Model Village, Anglesey Sea Zoo, Beaumaris Castle and a number of excellent golf courses.
