Cottage Description

Located close to the village of Newborough on the Isle of Anglesey is this delightful stone-built terraced barn conversion. Sitting within a courtyard, the property can accommodate up to six people.

The Granary has one king-size double bedroom with en-suite facilities, a further king-size double bedroom on the ground floor and a twin bedroom. There is also a well-presented family bathroom and an open plan living area with a fitted kitchen, dining area and a sitting room with doors the lead out to the garden.

Amenities/Accommodation Overview

This property enjoys full oil central heating. In the kitchen, there is an electric double oven and hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer and shared use of a freezer. The Granary also boasts a flat screen colour TV with Freesat, DVD player, CD player and there is Wi-Fi available. All the fuel and power is included in the rent. Guests will have bed linen and towels provided, but must bring their own beach towels. A cot, booster seat and stair-gate can be made available.

Outside, there is off road parking for two cars, a shared bike storage area, and an enclosed rear garden with a lawn, outdoor furniture and BBQ. At the front of the property, there is a seating area, which enjoys views over Snowdonia. Guests are welcome to bring two well-behaved dogs. This is a no smoking property. There is a shop and pub just over one-mile away and a Blue Flag beach is just two miles away.

Local Town Description

The village of Newborough sits close to beautiful forests and sandy dunes on the southwest corner of Anglesey. Llanddwyn Bay is nearby and renowned as being one of the best beaches in Britain as it is popular for swimming, canoeing, beachcombing and bird watching. The fifteen hundred acre sand dune system of Newborough Warren is home to numerous breeds of wildlife and is protected as a National Nature Reserve. Anglesey Model Village is a great place for a family day out. It is set within one acre of landscaped gardens and is less than one mile from Newborough village centre.
