Furnished and finished to an outstanding standard even to a hand crafted walnut kitchen it enjoys a tranquil position near the Angus Glens and delightful walks from the door. Set with its own garden near a bubbling stream and next to the owner's home it lies only three miles from Brechin where guests will find shops pubs restaurants and a historic cathedral as well as a swimming pool tennis and riding close by. Close by are Glamis Castle the House of Dun (NTS) and the golden beach at Lunan Bay and the Montrose Basin Nature Reserve (10 miles).

Fantastic cottage, very peaceful and quite country setting with easy access to local attractions,shops and restaurants.The cottage is well layed out and equipped, highly recommended.

Cottage was amazing - the pictures do not do it justice!! Many comfy hours spent curled up next to the low window in the living room reading a book and watching phesants running up and down the surrounding fields!!

I would definitely recommend the Angler's Bothy to others, it is a great location to explore Scotland from Angus to the Cairngorms National Park. The cottage is lovely and spacious and furnished to a very high standard. The wood burning stove was also great after a long day out in the fresh air.

Accommodation excellent - lots to do in area. Quiet but also if you wanted close enough to amenities etc.
