Only a mile from Carnousties championship links golf course and glorious beaches these creatively converted courtyard cottages make the perfect holiday base. Hunters Lodge property sleeps up to five people in three bedrooms it comprises of a large comfortable lounge, well equipped kitchen with dining area, single bedroom and bathroom with toilet, washbasin and shower over the bath. On the first floor is a double bedroom with five foot bed and a twin bedroom. Outside is a shared garden with patio and furniture. Originally built in 1856 as the stables to Panbride House and accessed through a gravel courtyard they now offer extremely comfortably furnished accommodation and free entry to the indoor swimming pool and other facilities of the remarkable neighbouring health club and physiotherapy centre. Glamis Castle (childhood home of the late Queen Mother) and the House of Dun are both well worth a visit as is the visitor centre at the Montrose Basin Nature Reserve. Only six miles away lies the ancient port of Arbroath (home of the renowned Arbroath Smokie) whilst the city of Dundee (11 miles) is the location for Discovery in which Captain Scott sailed to the Antarctic and HM Unicorn the oldest British-built warship still afloat. Ther is a shop and pub within one mile.

Good location for walking and seeing various local attractions and countryside. Access to Healthclub provided excellent facilities for young teens when weather not great.
