Enjoying a stunning hillside location on the Isle of Mull in the village of Salen, is this delightful cottage. Accommodating up to four people, this property provides magnificent views over the Sound of Mull and surrounding scenery. Sunset Cottage has one double bedroom with an en-suite shower room, a twin bedroom, which can be made up into a double room and a family bathroom. There is also a well-equipped fitted kitchen and a sitting room with a wood burning stove. Amenities/Accommodation Overview This property has full ground sourced under-floor central heating with supplementary heat from the wood burning stove in the sitting room. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Sunset Cottage also features a colour TV with Freeview, DVD player, CD player and a library of books, games and DVDs. All of the fuel, power and a starter pack of wood for the wood burning stove are inclusive. Guests are provided with bed linen and towels. Outside the property, there is off road parking for two cars, a patio area with outdoor furniture and a BBQ. Guests are welcome to bring two well-behaved dogs. Smoking is not allowed. This property sits just six-miles from the nearest shops and pubs. Local Town Description Located on the delightful Isle of Mull, Salen is a small village, which is home to hotels, a restaurant and a coffee shop. An agricultural show is held on the outskirts of the village each August. The area is popular for outdoor pursuits, which include mountain biking, walking, bird watching and pony trekking. The magnificent coastal scenery of nearby Calgary Bay and the Gribun Rocks offer stunning scenery. The islands capital town of Tobermory is just sixteen-miles away, where there is a nice selection of places to eat and other amenities.
