Cottage Description

Revelling in full views over the sea to the Antrim Mountains, Mull of Kintyre and Ailsa Craig, these four holiday cottages are located on a 200 acre working farm. This is a glorious area of the coastline, only 1/2 mile from the old angling village of Ballantrae. Girvan, a lively seaside town is a short 15 minutes drive. The farm includes 1.5 miles of beach, reached by a small footpath from the main road below the cottages. The area offers fishing, golf at a number of top class courses, sailing and horse-racing at Ayr. You can find the closest shops and pub just 1/2 mile down the road, plus outstanding local restaurants that serve the finest food and drink around.

In an elevated position, opposite to the farm buildings, and just 300 metres from the main road, each of the first three cottages has superb and uninterrupted views to the sea. The vivid luminous rooms are simply furnished in a friendly welcoming style, ideal for a chilled out family break. We recommend that a maximum of four adults can be accommodated. Ayr 132(a) sleeps 4-6 plus one baby. It consists of one bedroom with a double and a single bed, one room with bunk beds and an extra single bed, a sitting room with an open fire, kitchen and a bathroom. All power is supplied by electric plus there is an open fire. You will have access to the fridge, washing machine, microwave and television. Bed linen is supplied. A cot and a high chair are available by request.
