Cottage Description
Situated on the brink of a quaint little seaside town, this 1930s detached family house has been carefully modernised whilst retaining period features and its old-fashioned charm. The rooms are large, light and airy with snug traditional furnishings. From the upper floor there are wonderful views to the sea and inland to the open countryside and hills. There are grassy front and rear gardens to relax in. The centre of the town, which has shops and pubs, is less than 1/2 mile down the road. Cullen has a superb beach, a links golf course and lies on the Moray Firth with plenty of pleasant angling villages, sandy coves and coastal walks to experience. Inverness is less than an hour away and the scenic West Highlands, Cairngorm National Park and Speyside Whisky Trail are all close by. The property consists of four bedrooms - one with a king and single bed, one with double and single beds, one double and one with bunk beds, a lounge with an open fire, dining room, huge dining kitchen with utility room, bathroom with a shower over the bath and two separate WCs, which include one on each floor. Cooking is powered by a gas hob and electric oven range and there is gas central heating plus an open fire. There is a fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, dishwasher, television, DVD player, telephone and broadband internet access so you can keep in touch with the real world. Bed linen and towels are supplied.
