Situated in the village of St Abbs on the Scottish borders, is this charming stone built end terrace cottage, which was originally built for the use of lighthouse keepers. Near Bank Cottage can sleep up to four people. There is one double bedroom and one twin bedroom. There is also a family shower room. The property has a sitting room with open fire, dining area and a well-equipped fitted kitchen. Outside there is a garden with outdoor furniture and off-road parking. This property provides excellent accommodation in a superb location. Amenities/Accommodation Overview Bed linen is provided at the property. The kitchen has an electric cooker, fridge/freezer and washing machine/dryer. There is also a colour TV in the living area. Near Bank Cottage has electric heating from night storage heaters. All fuel and power is included in the price. One well-behaved dog is allowed but must be kept under strict control. This is a no-smoking property. There is a shop and pub just one-mile away. Local Town Description The coastal fishing village of St Abbs is located just over the border in Scotland, close to the stunning Berwickshire coastline. There is a charming harbour and fisherman's cottages are scattered along the hillside. Nearby is the St Abbs Head Nature Reserve, which is a popular area for birdwatchers and nature lovers. There is a beach less than one mile away in Coldingham and the historic town of Berwick-upon-Tweed is within easy reach and is home to a museum and castle. Other local places of interest include the Cheviots, Holy Island, Farne Island and the villages of Craster, Eyemouth and Seahouses.

The location of the cottage with its access on to St Abbs Head and proximity to other attractions. It was easy to reach major road networks but the cottage was secluded and restful.
