A lovely semi-detached holiday property exuding charm and character, the Bakehouse is a conversion from a woollen mill which was then the village Bakery, hence the name. Attractively furnished offering its own unique character, the accommodation comprises a double bedroom and two twin bedrooms, one of which is accessed by way of the double bedroom, and is screened by a curtain. The bathroom is on the ground floor, and has a WC, basin and a bath with electric shower over. There is a first floor shower room with WC, basin and shower. The sitting room has dining space, and finally a pleasing kitchen with a breakfast area. There is gated access to the river from the side patio garden and barbecue. Off road parking for three car ports, large car port. Amenities/Accommodation Overview Inclusive of bed linen, towels, power and fuel, full oil fired heating. Dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave and electric cooker. TV, DVD, CD/radio, regret no pets and no smoking. Three minutes walk to pubs and shops. Local Town Description Greenlaw is positioned just twelve miles over the Scottish border, being a great location to enjoy amenities, attractions and facilities on both sides of the border. You are just a forty minute drive from Edinburgh, Scotland's capital city, and widely acknowledged as one of the most beautiful in Europe. Manderson, Thirlestaine, Mellerstain, The Hirsel and Holy Island are but a short drive away, and the there is a full range of pastimes including exploring castles and abbeys, and enjoying cycle routes and walk ways.

The accommodation was quirky and fun. The master bedroom and kitchen were particularly good. It was in easy reach of Edinburgh.
