Enjoying wonderful views out to the cliffs of the North Atlantic and overlooking the peaceful crofting community of Kirtomy, this wonderful stone built detached house dates back to the 1800's. Originally a croft house and in a beautiful location, the property is bright, warm and has retained many of its traditional features.

The house has a large split-level living room with open fire, Sky TV, DVD player and patio doors that lead out on to a large garden at the rear. There is also an enclosed garden to the front of the property and sun porch with seating. The well-appointed kitchen has a dining area, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, automatic washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a second sitting room with another dining area, utility room, extra WC and a bathroom with a separate shower. The property has one double bedroom with an en-suite shower room. There is a further double bedroom and a bunk bedroom. A cot, highchair and bottle sterilisation machine are provided. Bed linen and towels are provided.

Kirtomy is in an ideal location for guests wanting to explore the magnificent scenic coastline. There are numerous lochs in the area, with opportunities for fishing, sailing, bird watching, pony trekking, hill walking and golf. There are day trips to the Orkney Islands on offer from nearby Scabster and excellent shopping, pubs and restaurants in Bettyhill, which is four miles away. The large county town of Thurso is just thirty miles away.

This property sits in a tranquil location with great views over countryside to the sea cliffs. The house benefits from oil-fired central heating and an open fire.
