Customer Rating/Reviews

Lovely clean, warm, attractive accommodation in away-from-it-all coutryside. Author: Mr H, Cockermouth, Cumbria - Date Submitted: 02/2011

I don't speak enough english, but very quiet and relaxing. Author: Mrs A, Sofia, Bulgaria - Date Submitted: 10/2009

We found this a nice 'out of the way' place to stay with friendly hosts, and plenty of walks away 3 miles from the nearest main roads. Almost exclusive use of a pool and hot tub was also welcomed. T he accommodation was clean and cosy with a collection of DVDs and videos for the evenings or rainy days. An ideal location for those with dogs as the farm dog, Rufus was very friendly too. The small village of Littleport was interesting for basic supplies, with more being found from the Bugen at Witchford Road garage (3rd roundabout on A10 towards Cambridge). For the 'all purpose shop', the Tesco superstore was easy to find on the outskirts of Ely (follow A10 to Cambridge, followed by A142 towards Newmarket), although there were plenty of shops in Ely itself with ample free parking. Easy to reach day trips were made to Thetford Forest taking in Mildenhall and Lakenheath airbases, Kings Lynn, Downham Market (all towards Norfolk), Cambridge to the southwest (be sure to use the park and ride, it's so easy!). The accommodation was great, and especially the exclusive use of the pool and hot tub by pre-booking it. Author: Mrs A, Worthing, West Sussex - Date Submitted: 04/2008
