Cottage Description
This property dates back three-hundred-and-fifty years and forms part of a building that was once owned by the family of Oliver Cromwell. Located on a six-acre site, which is owned by the Caravan Club close to Grafham Waters in Cambridgeshire, the building is now two holiday cottages. The Cottage can accommodate up to six people in one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and one room with bunk beds. There is also a family bathroom and an open plan living space with a fitted kitchen, dining area and a sitting room. Amenities/Accommodation Overview This property has full gas central heating. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and there is a washing machine and tumble dryer in utility room. The Cottage also features a colour TV with Freeview, DVD player, books, DVDs and games. All of the fuel and power is inclusive and there is bed linen and towels provided for guests. A travel cot and highchair are available on request. Outside the property, there is off road parking for two cars and an enclosed garden with outdoor furniture and a BBQ. There is also the shared use of an open-air heated swimming pool, which is open when a lifeguard is on duty from May to mid September. No pets are allowed. This property operates a no smoking policy. There is a small onsite shop, a pub within a short walking distance and supermarket just eight miles away. Local Town Description The beautiful Cambridgeshire village of Grafham is best known for its Grafham Waters, which is a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest that covers fifteen-hundred acres. It is also a haven for wild life and fishing can be enjoyed here with this stretch of water known as the king of the trout reservoirs. On-site there are picnic areas, places to eat, specialist sports hire and sales shops. The towns of Huntingdon, St Neots and Cambridge are all within easy reach and offer a number of attractions to visit.

The Cottage was light and airy and furnished to a very high standard. The upside down design allowed for views over the site. The area was very peaceful and the Grafham site very well run. The swimming pool added to the overall experience. A lovely cottage. My family and I truly enjoyed staying there.
