Local Town Description

Aberystwyth is set near to the confluence of the rivers Rheidol and Ystwyth. The castle divides the beach into two and there is a lovely sea front and a pier. The town is unique in Wales in many ways, being so far from the nearest large town, the benefit being the array of exceptional scenery that make up the surroundings.

Pubs, restaurants, museums, gallery, cinema, as well as the National Library of Wales. There is the chance to travel on one of the best of the small trains of Wales along the Vale of Rheidol.
