Possessing plenty of character, this cottage has exposed beams, sloping eaves and wooden floors to ensure its origins are not forgotten as the accommodation enters a more contemporary age with modern features.

It is attached to the owner's farmhouse and is positioned down a quiet country lane. It is a stone built barn conversion and is based on the edge of the countryside village of Croeslan. This position is only 14 miles from Cardigan. It is a spacious and light property that has been carefully renovated. It has one double bedroom and one twin bedroom with both bedrooms holding stunning views over the neighbouring landscape.

The property has been decorated to ensure it makes the guests feel like they are living in a home away from home. It has all the necessary modern conveniences and comes with a delightful garden that will encourage outdoor dining and entertainment when the weather is nice. The local village of Cilgerran has a store, post office and all the other essential amenities.

Amenities/Accommodation Overview

This property has LPG central heating right through with an electric stove in the living area. There is an electric hob and oven, fridge/freezer and microwave in the kitchen. The living room has a digital TV, DVD player and a CD player. There is also a selection of DVDs, books and games guests can enjoy during their stay. Fuel, power, and bed linen are all supplied. A cot, high chair and stair gate are available upon request.

Off road parking is available for up to two cars. There is an enclosed lawn area with outdoor furniture and a barbecue. The paddock area is ideal for walking the dogs. Well behaved dogs are welcome at the property. Unfortunately, no smoking is allowed. The closest shop is just a 5 minute walk and the nearest pubs are just 2 miles away. This property is based on a working small holding that has dogs, horses and poultry.

Local Town Description

With the Welsh countryside as a backdrop, this property could not ask for better surroundings. Its location in the peaceful village of Croeslan near Cardigan Bay means guests can really experience Wales at its best first hand.

The idyllic village of Cenarth is close by and the River Teifi is a fantastic walk for any rambling enthusiasts. It is also a renowned spot for fishing and has a magical waterfall. There is a wildlife centre at Cilgerran and guests might even be lucky enough to see some seals or dolphins when they take a day trip to Cardigan Bay itself. Cardigan Bay is also host to some Blue Flag sandy beaches.

This cottage was fabulous and so were the little extras on arrival including fresh flowers, tea, coffee, toffee waffles & a pint of milk. The owners whilst living next door, left us to enjoy our holiday, but were very friendly and always on hand to give us some advice on what to do and where to go. The location was very peaceful but only a short journey from some lovely places to visit. We were given the use of the paddock & garden for the dogs. The owners had pretty much thought of everything and we had a fantastic holiday. We have already recommended this cottage to our family and friends. Thank you for a lovely holiday!
