Cottage Description

Something very different, Beachcomber's Cottage is a ground floor apartment located just twelve feet from the lovely beach at the foot of Tregonhawke Cliffs. Access is gained on foot along a steep path, having left the car at the top.

The ground floor accommodation provides a double bedroom and a shower room with WC, basin and large shower cubicle. The living room offers a double sofa bed and dining table, and there is also a fitted galley style kitchen.

Great views to the Eddystone Lighthouse. Lifeguarded beach ideal for fishing, swimming or surfing. The steep access may be suitable for the infirm, and children must be supervised at all times. Book with an adjacent property for sleeping accommodation for up to ten people.

Amenities/Accommodation Overview

Inclusive of power, towels and bed linen. Fridge/freezer, microwave, electric hob and oven. DVD, collection of DVDs, TV. Electric convector heating. Cot availability by request, parking available 250 feet above, regret no smoking, two well behaved dogs allowed. One and a half miles to pub and shop.

Winch access available for luggage May to September inclusive (may not be available outside these times). Please supervise children because of the open beach and cliff path. The infirm could well encounter difficulties with the access.

Local Town Description

Located just inside the Cornwall/Devon border, the property is superbly placed to explore the locality which includes the splendid Whitsand Bay which reaches for five miles and is ideal for surfing, fishing and swimming. Great local walking, and a chance to indulge in some day tripping. The beautiful City of Plymouth and the iconic fishing villages of Polperro and Looe should be top of that touring list.

Everything about this holiday was perfect, from the position of the cottage to the most beautiful outlook. The dogs was made most welcome by the owners of the property and the on-site lifeguards.
