Cottage Description

Located in Mevagissey in Cornwall is this former fisherman's cottage, which can accommodate up to eight people. Enjoying a wonderful location, just one-hundred-yards from a charming harbour, this property has many original features and is an ideal base for exploring the Cornish coast.

Holly Cottage is set over three floors and has two double bedrooms, one of which has en-suite facilities, two twin rooms and a family bathroom. There is also a fitted kitchen, dining room and a sitting room with a wood burning stove.

Amenities/Accommodation Overview

This property has storage heaters with supplementary heat from wood burning stoves in the sitting room and one bedroom. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and washer/dryer. Holly Cottage also features a colour TV, DVD player and a library of DVDs, books and games. All of the fuel, power and a starter pack of fuel for the wood burning stove are included in the price. Guests are also supplied with bed linen and towels.

Outside the property, there is off road parking in an allocated space, which is a short walk from the property. Guests are welcome to bring two well-behaved pets. No smoking is allowed. There are shops and pubs just two-minutes walk from the cottage.

The Cornish fishing village of Mevagissey is home to picturesque winding cobbled streets and a delightful harbour, which is always full of boats. Guests can enjoy stunning walks along the coast, beautiful sandy beaches, high cliffs views and hidden coves. The town of Truro, the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the fascinating Eden Project are all within easy reach.
