Cottage Description

Located in the Cornish village of Delabole near to Tintagel, is this charming former coaching inn. Situated close to the north Cornwall coast, this property can accommodate up to six people.

North Inn Cottage has one double bedroom with en-suite facilities, one twin bedroom and two single bedrooms. There are also two family bathrooms, a fitted kitchen with a dining area and a sitting room with a wood burning stove.

Amenities/Accommodation Overview

This property has oil central heating with supplementary heating from the wood burning stove in the sitting room. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. North Inn Cottage also features a colour TV in every room and DVD players. All of the fuel, power and a starter pack of wood for the wood burning stove are included in the price and guests are supplied with bed linen and towels. A cot and highchair are available by prior request.

Outside the property, there is roadside parking and a small, enclosed garden to the rear with outdoor furniture and a BBQ. No pets or smoking allowed. This property sits within a short walk of shops and pubs.

Local Town Description

The tranquil village of Delabole has a fascinating history and boasts the oldest slate quarry in Europe. Guests can travel a short distance to enjoy the beautiful beaches at Polzeath, Rock, Trebarwith and Tintagel. The coastline is popular for sunbathing, swimming, surfing and cliff top walks can be enjoyed along the South West coastal path. The spectacular and mysterious Bodmin Moor is nearby and there is dramatic landscape around the Rough Tor.

We received a very warm and personal welcome from the owner, scones, clotted cream, jam, milk, bread, fresh flowers, and free range eggs were all waiting for us when we arrived. The interior was fresh, cosy and spotlessly clean. The kitchen was extremely well equipped. We really enjoyed our stay in North Inn Cottage and didn't want for anything!
