Cottage Description
Rectory Cottage is positioned right in the middle of the very mature and tranquil Glen of Glenarm, which is one of the nine Glens of Antrim. It has been beautifully restored into a cottage using traditional materials and methods having been initially built in 1880 as a dwelling and shop. The property shares a border with Glenarm Castle and Glenarm Estates. The Causeway coast is within a relatively short distance, with the Giant's Causeway and a number of idyllic fishing villages and Victorian destinations such as Portstewart close by as well. The Glens are a hot spot for ramblers while fishermen and boating enthusiasts love the sea and river sports near by. The shop and pub are just 1.5 miles away and the beach is conveniently just 2 miles away. The ground floor consists of a lounge and a kitchen. The first floor is made up of a double, twin, single and a bathroom. The electricity and oil central heating are included. There is an open fire with a starter pack with the towels and linen included. TV, microwave and washing machine are all include. There is a fridge but it does not have an ice box. There is a slightly enclosed garden area that has bbq facilities and garden furniture. Off road parking is also available. One pet is permitted.
