Located in the village of Holme, which is close to the town of Kirkby Lonsdale and the stunning Lake District National Park, is this stone built semi-detached property. Accommodating up to five people, this is a great base for exploring the wonderful south Lakes region. 1 Springfield is a three-storey property that has one double bedroom, one twin bed and a family bathroom. In the open plan living space, there is a fitted kitchen, dining area and a sitting room with a wood burning stove and a sofa bed, which provides additional sleeping. Amenities/Accommodation Overview This property has under-floor gas central heating throughout and wood burning stove in the sitting room. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge and washing machine. 1 Springfiled also features a colour TV with Freeview, DVD player, radio/CD player and a library of books and games. All of the fuel and power is inclusive with fuel for the wood burning stove available on an honesty box basis. Guests are supplied with bed linen and towels and there is a cot and highchair available by prior request. Outside the property, there is off road parking for two cars, a front garden, decked area and a side grass area, which the owners' use on occasion for access. Guests are welcome to bring one well-behaved dog. No smoking is allowed. There are shops and a pub within a fifteen-minute walk. Local Town Description The small Cumbrian village of Holme is surrounded by magnificent countryside and is an ideal base for exploring the Southern Lake District and the nearby Yorkshire Dales. The tranquil Forest of Bowland is within easy reach and the market town of Kirkby Lonsdale is just eight miles away. Kendal, the gateway to the Lake District is also a short journey away.
